During the month of October, we will be reading:

6.There Was An Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything

Second grade students will enjoy listening to the Magic Tree House: Haunted Castle on Hallow's Eve, which is a Chapter Book

Library Stations will continue for second graders. First graders are beginning to learn library stations, and Kindergarten will be introduced to library station rules! 

And as always, we will be checking in and out books ….because....we are All 'Bout those Books! :)

Library Stations

Mrs. Herren's second grade class enjoying library stations during their library time! 

After they check out books, they can choose their stations. They can choose between makerspace stations, critical thinking, reading, computers, research, and brain brake stations!

 This year OES is doing a school wide incentive program for Accelerated Reader (AR). Each child will have lots of opportunities to read, take quizzes, and earn points for prizes!
